I started getting help and advice from others in the Tesla community who are currently making masks and other PPE. It became apparent the demand is great everywhere. I decided I needed to start making them myself. The cost of materials is about $5.00 per mask. This includes the gasket material, the N95 filter material which is getting more scarce & much more expensive, the straps needed, the rear strap clips, and the cost of the plastic filament.
If you can help with the cost of materials I will be able to keep making masks and giving them directly to the nurses and doctors who need them.
I initially estimated $2.50 per mask because I am new to 3d printing and was guessing. Now I have found out it is much more. I have details below.
